What is a sticky board?
Sticky board is thick cardboard with a high-tack adhesive on one side. It’s acid-free so sticky board is safe for all kinds of needlework, and the adhesive is repositionable so it is particularly forgiving and easy to use. Sticky board is a good mounting option for small to medium sized pieces.
What do you put on a sticky board?

Do glue boards attract bugs?
Harmless snakes, like Northern Ring-necked Snakes, are often the victims of glue boards. They eat many insects and are attracted to the sticky boards when searching for bugs to eat.
Do glue traps attract roaches?
Many glue traps have a hint of bait, but it’s not enough to attract a large number. Sadly, glue traps are great for monitoring cockroach infestations, not controlling them.
How many Varroa mites is too many?
It would also seem that Varroa are transmitting more virulent strains of viruses with each passing year. Because of this, I recommend to keep mite levels below 1 mite/ 100 bees in the spring and below 3 mites/100 bees in the fall. With Varroa loads any higher, beekeepers risk high colony losses.
Can rats get out of glue traps?

How often should I check my bees for mites?
