I would prefer if the grip layer wasn’t so thick; a thinner grip layer would provide a soft interface between the fingers and the pencil, while providing enough structural stability to write quickly and neatly. The grip material would be perfect if they wanted to make a stress ball. The material feels like it would be rated Shore 00-20.
