What is the main library at FSU?
Strozier Library
Florida State University’s main library anchors the north side of Landis Green with Landis Hall bordering the south side. This center of academic learning bears the name of Robert Manning Strozier, who served as FSU’s president between 1957 and 1960.
Can FSU alumni use the library?
As an alumnus, you can still access many of our services, including career advising, access to career guides and library resources, and career fairs.

Can anyone use the UF library?
Due to strict license agreements, only UF students, faculty, and staff have remote-access privileges to our resources. However, with on-site registration, visitors have the privilege of free on-campus access to all library databases when using our library public workstations.

Are any UF Libraries open 24 7?
Traditionally, Library West was the 24-hour library from 2012 to 2017 and 2019, but UF Libraries more recently changed it to Marston Library. However, the 24-hour schedule came to a halt once COVID-19 hit, and it never came back. Now, some UF students are upset they do not have a 24-hour library option on campus.
Can you eat in UF Libraries?
Covered drinks and snacks are permitted in most campus Libraries. Hot entrees, salad, pizza, soup and hot, messy or odorous items must be consumed outside. No food or drink may be consumed in specialized collections (Architecture & Fine Arts Library, Map & Imagery Library, Special Collections) or posted areas.

Can non USF students use the library?
24/5 Restrictions During 24/5 hours of operation, all patrons who enter, or those remaining in the library from 9:45pm to 6:00am, Sunday through Thursday, must be currently enrolled students, faculty or staff and they must have a valid USF ID in their possession.
