Snapper seem to be very fond of both the fresh mullet and the salted version and good catches attest to the success of these baits. Kahawai as bait also catches well and squid works okay and is good backstop if mullet cannot be sourced. Salted tuatuas (two to a hook) will also catch good snapper.
