What is the difference between Siser EasyWeed and ThermoFlex?
Siser EasyWeed Stretch is 90 microns thick and can be layered. ThermoFlex Stretch is a little thicker at 100 microns thick. Just like standard ThermoFlex, it has a matte finish; however, ThermoFlex Stretch will not layer. Both of these vinyls will adhere to stretchy materials such as spandex!

What is Thermo Flex?
ThermoFlex Plus is a durable polyurethane based heat vinyl that is highly flexible. It has a soft hand and strong grip and if applied properly will outlast the life of the garment.
Do you peel Siser HTV hot or cold?
It applies at a lower temperature, can be peeled HOT or COLD and doesn’t lift during weeding. It’s also extremely durable wash after wash and uses a lower pressure setting for application.

The iron on vinyl for shirts fall off when washing letters will happen more in the drye because the heat inside the machine can soften the fusible used in decorative applications. It is possible that these items were not properly cleaned before adding the design to the garment.
How long do I press Siser EasyWeed?
Application instructions (heat press)
- Cut in reverse.
- Weed excess material.
- Preheat garment for 2-3 seconds.
- Apply design at 305°F/150°C.
- Use medium/firm pressure for 15 seconds.
- Peel carrier hot or cold.
Is ThermoFlex hot or cold peel?

Peel warm or cold. It is much easier to peel while still warm but for consistent results allow at least 10 seconds of cooling time before peeling. For greater durability, cover with a Teflon sheet and repress for 10 seconds. Turn garment inside out before washing.
How long does Siser HTV last?
With good care of the garment the manufacturer recommends about 50 washes for vinyl heat transfers, which does eventually crack and fade after that. With heat press items we have to worry about the adhesive and the shape of the vinyl. With that it’s important to know what can damage the heat pressed items.
What temp do you press Siser EasyWeed?
For Example: To heat apply EasyWeed® on a Heat Press we’d recommend 305°F. To heat apply EasyWeed on a Cricut EasyPress, we’d suggest 335°F.

HTV should never be dry cleaned. – Wash and dry garments inside out. – Choose cold or warm water temperature settings for the wash. – Use mild detergent. – Dry on a low/tumble setting or hang dry. – Do not iron directly on a heat transfer design.
