The shoes definitely run small and I, unlike some other reviewers, am having a hard time breaking these in. The Soludos tag on the side rubbed into my foot and was super uncomfortable. Can you get espadrilles wet or will they shrink? If you get caught in the rain and the soles do get wet, stuff the shoes with newsprint and allow them to completely dry out! And definitely don’t wear them in the sea!

Note: Chanel espadrilles totally run true to size. If I were to buy my own pair, I would definitely size up to an FR 39 — see my Chanel ballet flats review for more sizing info. If your Chanel espadrilles are too loose, I’d suggest stuffing the toe with tissues.
